GCSE Drama Trip – ocean at the end of the lane
Earlier this month, on Thursday 3rd March 2022 the GCSE Drama Year 10 and GCSE Year 11 students went to see The Ocean at the End of the Lane. The production was a theatrical delight with the audience fully immense by extraordinary light design to appear as if we are underneath the ocean.
A man finds himself standing beside the pond of the old farmhouse where he used to play as a child. He is transported to his 12th birthday when his friend Lettie claimed it wasn’t a pond, but an ocean.
It was wonderful to get the Year 10 and Year 11 back in the theatre, despite a very eventful journey home during the tube strike!
